For many years I have been scoffing at my peers and colleagues for using PC’s and proudly brandishing my MacBook Pro.
However even though I was quick to upgrade to the new UniBody model I’ve have had to admit to myself that I would be more productive with a Tablet PC. I spend a significant amount of my day in MS OneNote and the other familiar office tools so why do I need a Mac..?
I was unsure about a move to a Tablet PC as I’ve never owned one before and wasn’t sure I’d be happy with the change. But now I’ve changed I’m very pleased I have, OneNote on a Tablet PC is fantastic and my personal productivity has increased significantly.
I know a few people using Tablet PC’s which helped and after a lot of review reading I chose the HP EliteBook 2730p.
I added the additional ‘Slice’ battery to increase the battery life to approx 10 hours and it’s working very well.
I still love my Mac’s and my 24″ iMac is my main machine at home; I run a Virtual windows desktop on it and sync all my files through a combination of ‘DropBox’ and MS Groove.
